Practitioners Commission

The French Association of Haidong Gumdo has set upIa National Women Practitioners Commission, body of exchange and reflection on the female practice of the Korean sword. The Commission develops and promotes female martial practice, fights against all forms of discrimination.

The objectives of the Commission are to promote female practice, to broaden martial knowledge and to introduce Korean culture. The Commission has already carried out and is developing numerous actions: space for exchange and reflection on the practice of the saber, demonstrations, initiations, Europe-Korea stays, participation in the World Championships, studies of literary works in connection with the practice of saber, the discovery of other arts and martial arts, Korean language courses...

The organization of the National Commission is managed by a permanent bureau composed of a representative and a secretary. The national office is the referent of the Regional Commissions.

This year, the National Commission of Practitioners proposes a reflection around the practice of Gummu. Many avenues based on experience are highlighted.
